A family business, close to home
Torrey Water Co. is a family-owned and operated company based in San Diego. We live here, we raise our families here, and we use the same water our customers do. Like most people in this city, we got tired of the scale on our fixtures, the spots on our glasses, and the taste of our tap water — so we decided to do something about it, for our own home and for our neighbors.
Why San Diego
San Diego's water is some of the hardest in the country, and we think local homeowners deserve a local company that understands it. We named the company after the Torrey pine — a tree that grows almost nowhere else on earth but thrives here on our coast. That's how we think about our work: built for this place, and nowhere else.
What we believe about water treatment
The residential water treatment industry has a transparency problem. Too many companies sell systems with vague claims, mystery components, and pricing that changes between the phone call and the install. We think that's wrong. We tell you exactly what's in every system, what it's certified to do, and what it costs — and then we stand behind it.

Every piece of media in our systems is NSF-certified. We use food-grade, USA-sourced softening resin and activated carbon that you can look up yourself.

The price we quote is the price you pay — and we publish it on our site. Professional installation, system programming, and startup are included. No fees added at the door.
